The Spinning Dancer

Look at the animation of this spinning girl and tell me if the movement is clockwise or counter-clockwise. Ready? Here comes the deal : you can make her spin in the opposite direction, just by wanting it to happen. Look at the image long enough and she will suddenly turn the other way. The image is not rigged, it just doesn't contain enough information to tell you what direction she's spinning. So your brain just fills in the blanks.

Wow, that's crazy. I couldn't get it to go counter clockwise until I focused on the foot. Now it goes which ever direction I think it's going. Its just like the caption says- which direction it spins is arbitrary, the motion is in your head.
