Human skull consisting of seven naked women's bodies

This photo was made by Philippe Halsman after a drawing Dali made in 1947. It shows seven nude women, arranged in a way which resembles a skull. This turned out to be something of an instant classic. Who is not impressed the first time he sees it? Because of its visual appeal and shock value, the idea was later copied in movie posters and such.
