This book is an absolute must-have for everyone remotely interested in the art of upside-downs. It features the complete set of all Verbeek's upside down drawings, in color. For some reason, this collection hasn't appeared in books for decades. The last book on Verbeek was an incomplete collection from an obscure publisher somewhere in the seventies.
This book was made by Peter Maresca of Sunday Press. The first thing I noticed was the excellent quality of it ; a very large and heavy hardcover. It doesn't only feature the upside downs but also some of his other works, like The Tiny Tads and The Loony Lyrics of Lulu. A surprising amount of it is in full-color (apparently its original state).
